Course Description

Join Chef Eliza Martin, Chopped Champion 2020, and Certified Sommelier Dane Kuta as we travel down to the bayou for a ragin’ cajun cookout. After enjoying a delicious ‘Welcome Wine,’ the class will prepare a mushroom etouffée. Next, we’ll create a sheet pan shrimp boil and remoulade. While making these excitable Louisiana edibles, the class will relish delicious and unique wine pairings while learning tips and tricks to matching food with wine. We’ll finish off the evening by conjuring up a classic New Orleans bananas foster complemented with a dessert wine that will make everyone exclaim, “That’s great!” or “Ça c'est bon!

This is a collaboration between Certified Sommelier Dane Kuta and Chopped Champion Chef Eliza Martin. Discover the art of masterful food and wine pairing in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Notes

Supplies: A $40 materials fee will be collected prior to the start of class. Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances or colognes, as they will interfere with your learning experience. Must be 21 or older to register.
