Course Description

Join Chef Eliza Martin, Chopped Champion 2020, and Certified Sommelier Dane Kuta as we put together various culinary surprises inspired by the Italian island of Sicily. After enjoying a delicious welcome wine, the class will create a panzanella salad popular on Italy’s large southern island. We’ll learn the history of Sicily along with its winemaking past as we relish in the spaghetti al nero di seppia (squid ink spaghetti) we masterfully create. We’ll finish off the evening by conjuring up a classic southern Italian cannoli dessert while we sip Zibibbo from Sicily’s neighboring island of Pantelleria. Viva Italia! Three culinary courses and four wines tasted this session.
