Begin your journey in the vast beauty of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, where sculpted canyons, desert sands, and the famous Galleta Meadows metal sculptures create a stunning outdoor gallery. Enjoy time to explore, take photos, and immerse yourself in the serene desert scenery before we travel up the winding mountain roads to the charming town of Julian. In Julian, step back in time with a leisurely stroll through its historic main street, filled with rustic shops, cozy cafés, and the irresistible scent of fresh-baked apple pie. Enjoy lunch on your own and take in the crisp mountain air before we head home through scenic backcountry vistas. This day trip offers the perfect blend of natural wonder and small-town charm—a refreshing getaway that highlights the beauty and diversity of our Southern California landscapes.

Bus Etiquette: Seating arrangements on the bus will be on a first come, first-serve basis. Those with difficult sitting at the rear of the bus are advised to arrive early. No smoking is permitted on the bus, The bus will depart on time.
$135 Early Bird Special $10 off if register before 3/21. Guide: Staff / Easy to Moderate (There will be a lot of walking at Borrego Springs).

- Excursion fee includes transportation.
- Don’t forget your hat, comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen.
- Dress casually in layers suitable for cool and/or warm weather.
Excursion Refund Policy: Refunds will be made up to five business days before the excursion, only if the excursion is full and someone on the waiting list is available to take your place. There will be a $25 cancellation fee if a replacement can be found.
Depart: 8 AM. Return: Approx. 6:30 PM. Pick up and drop off at MiraCosta Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92011 (an email will be sent to you prior to excursion).
