Course Description

The 30-hour general industry outreach training course is a comprehensive safety training program designed for anyone involved in the general industry. The course provides extensive information on OSHA compliance, safety and health hazards in the workplace, employer responsibilities, workers’ rights, hazard recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention. Successful completion of this course results in a Department of Labor 30-hour OSHA General Industry safety card that is federally recognized in all 50 states and never expires.
