Course Description

Computer numerical control (CNC) is the automated control of manufacturing machining tools (drills, boring tools, lathes) by means of a computer. In this 56-hour course, students will learn safety, terminology, and basic blueprint reading, as well as interpretation of G&M codes, and operation of both a HAAS CNC mill and
lathe. Students will also get exposure to CAD/CAM software. Course material and activities are provided via demonstrations and hands-on instruction.
