Course DescriptionIoT refers to the connection of devices to the Internet. Cars, kitchen appliances, and heart monitors are all examples of current consumer products connected through the IoT. According to Business Insider, there is an expectation that there will be more than 24 billion IoT devices by 2020. That’s approximately four devices for every person on the planet, which means about $6 billion is anticipated to flow into IoT solutions. In this 15-hour introductory course, students will be exposed to four elements of industrial Internet of things: • Physical monitoring hardware • Device programming • Internet communication via ISP • Creating data displays
