Course Description

Who will survive? Learn how to work with knots and ropes, build natural shelters, purify water, create fire, find food in the wild and master a variety of wilderness skills. You’ll learn how to reduce your risk of getting lost and how to react effectively with lifesaving actions if you have a backcountry emergency. Students will also be introduced to essential clothing and equipment.
