Course Description

MiraCosta College’s highly acclaimed Veterinary Technician Program is for those who love animals and want to learn all about the world of veterinary medicine. In this junior version of Vet Tech, you will discover what it takes to become a veterinarian, learn how to use the tools of the trade using live animals and increase your own pet’s well-being. This is a hands-on class with real world practices. Please DO NOT enroll your child into this class if they have any animal allergies.

***Parent/guardian must drop off and pick up children at assigned classrooms every day.
