For older adults. Are you looking for a way to reduce stress and have a relaxing and creative experience in a supportive group while exploring your artistic creativity? Join us as we create lasting and beautiful works of art with confidence. Learn extremely fun and easy techniques to achieve quality results. We will combine traditional and non-traditional watercolor techniques and concepts with demonstration and personal guidance.

Material List (please bring to class with you):

  • Paper: 9x12 pads (tape bound not spiral bound), Strathmore or Canson-140lb. watercolor paper or Canson-30 sheet 140 lb. pad (best value),
  • Prang watercolor paint box (16 color box set)
  • Round nylon watercolor brushes, # 12, 4 (Princeton Select is a good reasonably priced brush), 1” foam brush, Bristle fan brush #4
  • Water container
  • Tube of Chinese white (gouache)
  • Sea sponges
  • Pencil and white eraser
  • Black Sharpie
  • Scissors and Masking fluid (not immediately necessary).

Supplies may be purchased at Michael’s, amazon.com, or other on line art material sites, such as Blick, Cheap Joe's, Triarco. You can also pre order at Michael’s and pick up in the store.
