Course Description

Root cause is fundamental to problem solving in all industries (mfg., service, financial). This 15-hour course presents the process (8D) and tools to identify the root cause of a problem and select the corrective action to solve it, to prevent it from occurring again. The focus is on understanding root cause analysis as a process. The format of the course consists of lecture and practice. Whether your company is manufacturing, financial or service oriented, this course is needed. Who should attend: personnel in engineering, management, operations and technical support who want to improve their skills to solve recurring problems in the areas of quality, risk and engineering processes.
