Course Description

A Certified Sommelier and Napa Valley wine expert guides you through the history, style, and varietals produced in all major renowned wine growing regions in California. Each session will cover one major region, including Santa Barbara, Paso Robles, Sonoma County, and Napa Valley. Learn how to properly taste and evaluate wine using a deductive approach, and compare different wine styles side-by-side. While tasting, hear interesting anecdotes relating to California wine history. Six wines tasted per session. Textbook included. If you love California wine, this is the class for you!

Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances or colognes, as they will interfere with your learning experience. Must be 21 or older to register.

 A $85 materials fee will be collected prior to the start of class. Please bring three wine glasses, pen and paper to each class. Six wine tastes per session. Textbook included.
