Course Description

Restorative body exercises help elicit a response that encourages physical, mental and emotional relaxation. This class emphasizes moderation and care for your body through exercise and gives your muscles and joints time to recover. We will use props such as blocks, bolsters or blankets to help hold passive poses for
longer periods of time without straining or tiring out the muscles. These types of movements can help release tension in the body and lower back, regulate the
central nervous system, improve sleep quality and daily movement, increase blood flow and clam the mind.
