Course Description

Crochet can be fun and unique to your style! New to crochet, or just looking to build on what you know? This class is for you! Taught by a certified crochet instructor, we will cover all the basics of crochet, from how to hold the yarn and hook to crocheting all the basic stitches, including chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, clusters, shells and even post stitches. In the last class we will learn to join those swatches into a scarf, table runner or possibly a blanket. (Time at home will be needed to complete projects especially if making the larger items).

Notes

Supplies: A $3 materials fee will be collected in class for lesson handouts. Students will need a smooth light-colored worsted weight yarn and a Size H (5mm) hook, a yarn needle, and small scissors. Additional supplies list may be sent by the instructor prior to the start of class.
