Course Description

Full of wild and solitary grandeur, the Channel Islands have lovely heights and green canyons with rippling streams to photograph. Santa Cruz Island is a geological wonderland full of exotic plants and animals. Join us for a wonderful outdoor day trip to Santa Cruz Island’s East Anchorage at Scorpion Harbor. We will drive to Ventura Harbor in a luxury bus while you catch up on your sleep or read a good book. Then enjoy a one-hour boat trip across the channel to the Scorpion Cove landing area. Watch for dolphins and whales along the boat trip. The island is a naturalist’s paradise, but it is also the perfect place to delight in the wildlife and scenery as you take those perfect pictures or draw with your sketch pad.
