Course Description

Join us for an unforgettable adventure at the world’s most unusual flea market. The Rose Bowl Flea Market, celebrating over 50 years of success at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, features more than 2,500 vendors. Wander through a vibrant carnival-like atmosphere where you will find booths offering everything from vintage and high-end designer clothing to rare knickknacks and unique home furnishings. You will find some deals. After our shopping spree, we’ll head to the L.A. Farmers Market, an international gourmet bazaar bursting with delightful boutiques and culinary treasures. Enjoy a no-host late lunch and explore the diverse offerings. Don’t worry about your purchases—we’ll have plenty of room in the coach luggage compartment for your finds, and large ice coolers to keep your produce, cheese, and perishables fresh on the way home. We recommend bringing a rolling cart that can lay flat for your convenience.

Note:

• Includes transportation and entrance fee to The Rosebowl Flea Market.

• Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress casually in layers suitable for cool and/or warm weather. Sunscreen and/or hat is recommended.

• No-host lunch at the L.A. Farmers Market.

Depart: 8 AM. Return: Approx 6:30 PM. Pick-up and drop-off at MiraCosta Technology Career Institute, 2075 Las Palmas Dr, Carlsbad, CA 92011 (an email will be sent to you prior to the excursion)
