Spanning approximately 130 acres, this enchanting destination boasts 16 spectacular themed gardens and over 83,000 living plants, including rare and endangered species. As the season changes, The Huntington becomes a vibrant tapestry of fall foliage and floral beauty. Wander through the Zen Court of the Japanese Garden, where the golden leaves of Ginkgo biloba trees create a stunning display.
Explore the newly expanded Chinese Garden, where more Ginkoes and colorful Japanese maples add to the visual feast. Admire the graceful branches of weeping golden willow trees trailing near serene waters, adding a touch of elegance to the scene. Autumn at The Huntington is a celebration of ripeness and abundance. Depart: 8:30 AM. Return: Approx 6 PM. Pick-up and drop-off at MiraCosta Oceanside Campus, 1 Barnard Drive. Oceanside Parking Lot 2A (an email will be sent to you prior to excursion).
